Click on this: Curry Village Yosemite and you'll see where we're camping tomorrow night. We're staying in a "tent." Weather there is supposed to be stormy tonight, rainy Saturday, and sunny on Sunday.

Tonight Dane's going to a Giant's game with his buddy Josh, and Josh's sister Abby is spending the evening with Aubrey at our house.

Mick and I will be packing/planning for Yosemite. We've never been! We're bringing bikes! We leave in the morning at 7!

Hey, you guys - what a fun trip!
We stayed in Curry Village in one of the wood cabins (with no bath) when we went there 4 years ago for the last week of September. We really loved Curry Village, the eating facilities, and the atmosphere of more primative days - no phones; no TV; no radio.

We did, however, also join lots of school kids there for nature camps, so our entertainment for the night was nature sounds (along with the sounds of giggling girls). We biked the biking trails all the way around the valley on rented bikes and did lots of hiking. Hope you got to see the view spot where it tells about the Indian's name for Half Dome, "Old Woman Sleeping". Hope you had as much fun as we did.

By the way, Anj, Gary Hardy and his siblings used to go up there EVERY summer for a month and stay in their dad's camping trailer. He has wonderful stories to tell. They actually got to see the Fire Fall. That would have been something to see.
Can't wait to hear about your stay!! What a nice way to get away from the stress of school for a bit, Mick.
Love, Mom & Don
