Dane Had A(nother) Dream

Dane woke up this morning, super excited to tell me that he'd just had a dream where he and his buddies (Logan, Avery, Eli, Jacob, Josh) were all chanting "All Hail George Lucas!" at some sort of "I Love Star Wars" rally. The kid was just beaming with happiness.

Listening to Louis Armstrong's What A Wonderful World the other day, Aubrey said, "I love this song. It's beautiful -- is Yoda singing it?"

Apparently she's not the first to make that connection...

DANE HAS A DREAM

I woke up in the middle of the night and heard Dane laughing in the other room. Then he yelled, "Mom! Mom! Come here!"

I rolled out of bed and shuffled into the room, whispering, "What? What is it?"

He looked at me and laughed, "I just had the funniest dream: Jabba the Hut's body with Boba Fett's head! Isn't that hilarious?"

And then he smiled and fell back asleep.
