Ashland Snow
Quote of the Day
Ever since it snowed, these are the best days of my life.

Rogue - The name of the farming and timber-producing region in southwestern Oregon. Its mild climate and relative isolation have made the valley a popular destination. The Rogue Valley's community of Ashland is famous for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
rogue [rohg] n. a playfully mischievous person; a scamp
No one likes a fellow who is all rogue, but we'll forgive him almost anything if there is warmth of human sympathy underneath his rogueries...

Dane,
I just LOVE it when the SNOW comes to town! I'm like you with happiness and joy when SNOW STARTS TO FALL! It makes everything look so clean and I get a calming peaceful feeling as the FLAKES SWIRL through the air and settle in our yard.
We, too, have a LITTLE layer of SNOW on rooftops, fence railings and lawns. There's not enough to play in but there is enough to really be so very
BEAUTIFUL!
I'm hoping we'll have MORE FLAKES FALLING as the meteoroligists are predicting.
LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW!
I know you're having fun PLAYING in the SNOW - would be hard to do that here, right now. ENJOY IT WHILE IT LASTS!
Lucky for you that MT. ASHLAND is so near your home. Please, email or blog me if you go up to the mountain.
Would love SNOWY PICTURES with SMILING FACES of YOU, AUBREY & YOUR COUSINS.
Lovingly,
GRAMMY

Dane,
I'm with you. The snow makes me smile!! I don't care if it takes me longer to get to work. Poppa and I went out for a nice walk in the new snow late last night. It was wonderful. Everything was so quiet and so bright and SO fresh-smelling. (we didn't do snow angels though).
Love you, Mema & Poppa
