An Activist In The Making?

The Writing Mamas published another blog of mine. Aubrey's recent hospital stay stretched me to think a little more politically, which shows up in "Emergency," the April 11 blog at

Nicely written piece for the Writing Mamas. It is an insane world for health care and the choices that people make and sometimes have to make. Speaking from my most recently past job, health insurance is CRAZY expensive. I just got my COBRA notice and it would cost Nate and I around $850 a month in premiums alone. Thankfully we both have other options. I'm just so glad Aubs is ok.

ps I don't know how we didn't know the parent's early death similarity between us. It just may take time for all this stuff to surface. Hugs, k
